Personal

I've been living in Sacramento since 2003 and feel lucky to be part of this rapidly growing city.  I grew up in the East Bay going to high school in Walnut Creek and went to Chico State for my Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration.  I joined Northwestern Mutual as an intern in 2002, and when I graduated, I was given an opportunity to start my own business as a Financial Advisor.  Not having a "natural market," I've grown my business through referrals, meeting people within the community, hard work, and persistence.  I feel very blessed and lucky to have found a career and started my business at the age of 21.

My wife, Chelsea, and I met in 2003.  She is an amazing woman who has inspired me as well as many of our friends and family to stay fit, eat healthily and be kind to others.  In 2009, we found our home in East Sacramento, which was a neighborhood we always wanted to reside.  We love the area, neighbors, and everything that comes with our community!  I would consider East Sac one of few remaining "throwback" neighborhoods where everyone is extremely family friendly and warm.

Our daughter, Delyse, was born on August 17th, 2014.  She has grown so much over the past two years.  Her personality is incredibly warm, kind and inquisitive.  Delyse and I created a tradition for about a year, where every Saturday, we have breakfast.  This gives us some special daddy/daughter time, which is something I look forward to each weekend.  Every evening I take her to park, and it's been amazing watching her become braver on the faster swings, larger slides, and bigger jungle gym.  Everything has all happened so quickly which makes me realize that our daughter is far from being our little baby.

Our son, Vincent, was born on May 31st, 2017.  Although he was born almost one month early, everything indicates he's going to be a happy and healthy boy.  Chelsea, Delyse, and I are thrilled to have him in our family!  I'm hopeful that he becomes my daughter's shadow and they grow to be very close to each other.  I can't wait to see him grow and see his personality shine over the months and years.

My interests have expanded and continue to do so.  Putting myself in new and sometimes uncomfortable positions have forced me to keep growing as a person.  Over the past several years I've been very active with the Sacramento Active 2030 Club #1 which raises money throughout the year and donates the proceeds to the underprivileged or underserved youth of Sacramento.  I have co-chaired several events, been elected as a Board of Director, then as Vice-President and then as President.  I'm currently our club's Immediate Past President and most recently put on a Charity Cornhole Tournament which raised several thousand dollars for the UC Davis Cancer Kid's Center.  Some of my additional activities range from playing basketball, golfing (I'm getting better), backpacking, hiking, and keeping up on a range of sports.
